Using eduroam on Android

Quick setup guide for eduroam on Android phones

Note: this requires at least Android version 2.1

Follow the steps below:

• Go to Menu ⇒ Settings
• Choose Wireless & network settings
• Make sure Wi-Fi is checked
• Choose Wi-Fi settings
• Choose Add Wi-Fi network and enter following:

  Network SSID: eduroam
  Security: 802.1x enterprise
  Enter your DTU password
  EAP method: TTLS
  Phase 2 authentication: PAP
  Identity: your_username@dtu.dk
  Wireless password: your_dtu_password

Note if it is the first time you connect to an unknown network, you may be asked to create a password for a "credential storage" or similar. This appears to be a master password similar to the one used in (e.g.) firefox uses to protect your passwords for sites it logs you into automatically.
