TotalView Debugger

The TotalView debugger from TotalView Technologies (formerly Etnus) is installed on the Solaris SPARC machines in the G-databar. You can start it from the menu, or from the command-line in a terminal with the totalview command.

DTU students can obtain a free student's license for TotalView, by signing up to the "TotalView Express Student Program". Send us an e-mail (or use the 'Contact' link to the left), and we will provide you with the necessary information.

DTU employees (incl. PhD students) can use TotalView on their local machines (on the DTU network) as well. Our network license covers Linux and most UNIX flavours (see the platform support web pages to check if your system is supported). Our license doesn't cover Mac OS, though.
